The market is crazy right now. The inventory of homes is lower and we have more buyers than sellers. Nice homes are going with 2-4 days of being on the market. Most cases there will be multiple offers on the home and bidding will bring an offer over the original list price.
For buyers, you need very flexible. Know your financials and do your budget to make sure your offer will be honored. Timing is so critical.
You also have to be concerned that the home you are buying will appraise at the price you offer.
Don't get so frustrated at the bidding process. Let you Real Estate agent work for you in the process. They know the market and understand the buying process.
